This book is about a specific type of gardening "branded" as GROW BIOINTENSIVE. It's essentially a method that uses compost. What I don't like is that they are really pushing the "GROW BIOINTENSIVE" name throughout the book and in all caps, by the way. Annoying at times. If this review gets to you, you may be annoyed by the book. Someone is definitely interested in getting this method branded. All that said, however, this is a great book on how to work with compost: how to do it, develop it, methods, etc. It has gardening, too. A large focus is on soil preparation. I took a lot of value out of it.
