Never thought I would get through 825 pgs but did. He tells it flat out & it ain't pretty. His HUAC testimony plagued him throughout his life, but his strong spirit saw him through that nagging pain. I never thought I'd take my hat off to him, but I do...for his honesty. You can't argue with that. Thanks to Kazan, he gave us: On the Waterfront, East of Eden, A Streetcar Named Desire, Baby Doll, & this book!
