Loved this excellent biography of C. S. Lewis. Helps explain a lot about both the Narnia books and the brilliant play and TV drama Shadowlands. Lewis lived a very eccentric life for a Oxford and Cambridge scholar and his emotional life was particularly complicated. A. N. Wilson, who can be a bit acerbic in his criticism, is obviously a fan, but the book is boht objective and readable.
