Many of the stories deal with quite explicit content, sex, violence and death, but each short story left me with new thoughts and feelings to consider. Akiwenzie-Damm has a very quirky style, with some of the dialogue lacking typical punctuation; it provided a fast paced atmosphere and each of the stories went by extremely fast. Overall a very interesting and provoking read.
