Almost as good as the original, I didn't think it was going to be this good, I was wrong. I really enjoyed the new characters like the whale shark, beluga and giant squid. There were parts where you couldn't breath you were laughing so hard. 9 out of 10 stars for this great animated film.

Very cute, not as good as the original, but a new story line and some fun new characters.

Loved it! Excellent sequel to Finding Nemo. Heartwarming and great for the whole family.

I loved Finding Nemo, but this was kind of a disappointment. The repetitive dialogue got very tiresome and the plot seemed very stale. The complete ridiculous and implausibility of most of the events of the film made it incredibly silly and absurd. It was, however, very pretty to look at and it had some amusing moments. I liked Dory in the first film, but a whole movie centred on her character was not as much fun as I would have thought.

I never thought another animated film could be as good as Tangled, but this comes really really close. Way better than "Finding Nemo". "Finding Dory" starts years before Finding Nemo, back when Dory was a child. She gets pulled by the undertow away from her family and is lost for 20+ years until Marlin "finds" her and they set off to search for Nemo. Fast forward after Nemo is found and we see Dory piece together her memory and find her way back home. Almost every character in this film has a flaw. Nemo has an undeveloped fin. Dory has short-term memory loss. Destiny the whale shark is myopic (near-sighted). And the list goes on. Proof that differently-abled does not mean dumb or useless. We loved it and we cried through the whole thing. Even the adult man-child. ;)

First of all, Finding Nemo and Finding Dory have a lot of connections so before you watch Finding Dory, you should watch Finding Nemo for a better understanding of this movie. The beginning of Finding Dory is really cute and emotional. The beginning almost made me cry. Finding Dory has the same plot as Finding Nemo. In this movie, obviously Dory has a short term memory problem which makes this movie even more interesting. This movie shows how Dory met Nemo and Marlin from Finding Nemo. The movie basically tells you how Dory was raised, what she did with her parents and how she lost them. Finding Dory is one of the best animation movies ever.

I really liked this film and it's as good as Finding Nemo. The animation is as great, if not better. The end credits animation is fun and a little treat at the end of the credits worth waiting for. There's commentary by the film makers and a short film called Piper which is lovely. The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 was because there's no interviews/footage and commentary of the actors who were the voices. Missed out there. Well worth watching this film though. :-)

I expected more from this, especially because it felt like the movie was too long without enough substance going for it. However, baby Dory was darling!
