Most of these are awesome,(Like the cover) but there are some in here I could build easily. Lego can not be art, Lego IS art.

After reading, The Art of the Brick by Sawaya, I was intrigued by Legos as an art form and wanted to see more. This book, however, is not at the same level as Sawaya's work. Sawaya does amazing fine art with Legos. And although this book shows a couple of Sawaya's pieces, I would consider this more of an idea book. It is 263 pages of pictures of things people have made from Legos including aliens, intriguing architectural designs, monsters, characters and every day objects.

If you have a die hard Legos fan in your home or are one yourself, this would be an excellent idea book. It shows a large number of ways in which Legos can be used to create. I was not so much in awe over what was created as I was inspired to go create something for myself.

This book completely changed my idea about Lego. It's not a kid's toy, it could be beautiful art. Every page wowed me. The interviews of the artists were also very interesting. It's only I wish there was a mentioning about the size of each work. As I don't know anything about Lego, I have no idea how they are. I'm very looking forward to the "Beautiful Lego 2" coming this October.
