For a movie to be suspenseful you have to actually care about what happens to at least one of the characters, and none of these are worth caring about ...

Engaging plot because I couldn't figure out who did it! But, morally...why?? Why do these characters do what they do? It's not like the men are portrayed to be in a loveless marriage (except Marsden's character) so there really is no rationale for why these professional adults crave the need for their love shack repeatedly! Other than that, the storyline was good considering the plausibility of the situation.

I never seen the plot twist coming I guess the moral of this story be careful who you share your cheating apartments keys with haha. The crazy thing about this movie is I could see this being like a true story someday .

Really, really enjoyed this movie! Twisty plot made twisty-er by flashbacks and a confusing beginning which we could have done without. Leads are very good, well-acted but you have to pay attention or you will be lost - NOT a typical Hollywood blockbuster where you know who did what within the first 5 minutes. Karl Urban and Wentworth Miller are particularly excellent. A film by and for adults. Ending took us by surprise!

An unusual enough plot to keep it interesting without causing the watcher to tell it he's falling in love with it. I see some found it objectionable. I didn't find it so.

Very clever and twisty plot produced so amateurishly it is cringe-inducing. Soap opera dialogue, repulsive characters, and third-rate music.

Acting is mostly wooden with the exception of Wentworth Miller (if you have not seen him in "Prison Break" you are truly missing out). A waste of Matthias Schoenhaerts (who was so good in "Rust and Bone").

Best line: "I'm a whore." Seriously.

P.S. Why do people talk to cops without a lawyer present?

The third time is NOT a charm with this movie. If there was a way to make a rating of less than 1/2 star I would have done that.
This version is a remake of a 2008 film that was a huge hit in its native Belgium. Round 2 was a 2010remake in the Netherlands. Erik van Looy, directed the original, helped on the Dutch version and directed the USA version too. The hope would be by round 3 that they might have created a better story line and worked through some of the disjointed mess that makes me want to put my eyes in traction.

Based on this movie I'm not certain I understand the meaning of the descriptor "Erotic Thriller" unless that means those things have nothing to do with the movie.

Do they make movies to not be seen? If so, this could be a great candidate for that category. If you watch any of the network police dramas you're already seeing things that are MUCH better than this movie.

Thriller = not in this lifetime.
Erotic = only if you see women only as prostitutes or harpies
Overacting = yes and only badly, really badly

Don't waste your time unless you need a 1 hour 43 minute nap.

What kind of twisted, sick mind sits and writes a plot like this, I ask myself every time I am confronted with this kind of movie… Unfortunately, it is a too frequent question in the last several years! That is why I lean toward old movies: very rarely one is confronted with abnormal and sick behavior. Not one single character was honorable or had a grain of honesty. And the “mystery” was so thin, the twists and turns so fickle and unlikely, I just kept fast forwarding to see if something made any sense. (SPOIL ALERT: Just keep one word in mind: alarm!) The actresses were amateurish, could not act to save their lives. And what’s this with the “one-week-old-beard” look? The men seemed badly in need of a shower and a shave, yikes! Waste of time.

A TWISTED PLOT AS TO WHODUNIT. WAS CONFUSED BY TWO OF THE ACTORS WITH SCRUFFY BEARDS AS TO WHO WAS WHO. A DISTURBING MURDER MYSTERY, KEEPS YOU GUESSING ABOUT A 5 GUY FRIENDSHIP.

A one dimensional who-done-it thriller, but worthwhile mystery as five young married professionals (none had children) met to devise damage control and cover their own behinds when a dead body was found in a love apartment, a loft, that the five maintained exclusively for extra-marital affairs.
