The Apple and the Arrow

The Apple and the Arrow is a great book! It’s about William Tell and is in the Historical Fiction genre. That’s because it’s a book about something that is real and actually happened a long time ago but we don’t know exactly how it happened so we have to go along with it. I recommend this book for people who want to learn more about William Tell. As you’ve probably guessed from the amount of times I have said his name, the main character is William Tell. Tell is a big strong man who is known for his skills with the bow and arrow. My favorite part is where he shoots the apple in two right off his son’s head. The plot is that there is a bad king and governor so the people want to overthrow them but there are a few complications. Read the book to find out more!
