Meh.
Ironically, I liked the Saturday Morning cartoon better which is closer to source materials.

Although this film is not more interested than another X-Men films, I still love watching.

This an OK X-Men flick but going with a time-travel & "we'll fix everything" plot just seems too contrived. Just like the last "Men in Black" film, everything that could have gone wrong - did go wrong so we'll just go back in time and make it all-right! BTW: I looked & looked but I couldn't find Stan Lee (as he likes to pull a "Hitchcock" move on these movies). It tells me that Lee's heart just wasn't into this take on one of his creations.

Good action. Interesting time travel story.
At least some tension and drama, unlike the mindless Avengers and silly Thor movies.

This one and" X Men "First Class" might seem similar at first glance, but if you watch both of them you will see that there are differences in these two titles. I would say that so far that the special effects and stunts are good in both of them.

The cartoon version was way better. This movie version was dragged out and depressing. Only one worth watching was Magneto. Another Wolverine focused movie which gets repetitive. First Class was better. Just watched the cartoon version again and was at the edge of my seat every time the episode said "to be continued..." This movie, was a miss.

“X-Men: Days of Future Past” starts off in a futuristic, apocalyptic world with Kitty Pryde and a group of mutants. All of mutant-kind are being hunted by Sentinels (large, indestructible robots), and Kitty and her gang are recruited by Charles Xavier, Erik Lensherr, Storm, and Logan to help stop the events of the past from happening. Using Kitty’s abilities to send people’s present consciousness into their past bodies, Logan is sent back in time to the 1970s to stop Mystique from killing the creator of the Sentinels (this will, supposedly, stop the war in the future). However, things become complicated when Logan realizes that the past versions of Charles and Erik aren’t the same people they are in the future.

“X-Men: Days of Future Past” is the second movie in the “X-Men” series reboot. This movie is incredible in every way. The plot is driven, engaging, and unique, and is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. It has lots of sci-fi, action-y twists to satisfy anyone. The characters are well-written, and the actors and actresses to a wonderful job of bringing their comic book personas to life. The soundtrack is epic, and the special effects are amazing – it’s obvious that so much work went into them!

The author of this review highly recommends “X-Men: Days of Future Past”. It’s a gripping, enjoyable movie that anyone – comic book fan or not – can easily love. The author of this review believes “X-Men: Days of Future Past” to be suitable for ages fourteen and up due to some language and nudity.

Tons of quotes in IMDb:
Erik: You built these machines to destroy us. Why? Because you are afraid of our gifts. Because we are different. And humanity has always feared that which is different. Well, I'm here to tell you, to tell the world, you're right to fear us! We are the future! We are the ones who will inherit this earth! And anyone who stands in our way will suffer the same fate as these men you see before you! Today you meant to enslave our power. Instead, I give you a glimpse of the devastation our race will unleash upon yours! Let this be a warning to all of you. And to all my mutant brothers and sisters out there, I say this: no more hiding. No more suffering. You have lived in the shadows in shame and fear for too long. Come out. Join me. Fight together in a brotherhood of our kind! A new tomorrow, it starts today!
