After three decades turning his lens on New York City, taxi driver turned street photographer Matt Weber has seen it all. It not only chronicles the life and times of Weber, but becomes a vibrant conversation about the photographic medium, artistic expression, and New York City. There is no telling how many stories Weber has attempted to capture since he first started taking pictures out of the window of the cab he used to drive.

Thelonious Monk's music was the best part of this film for me. I did enjoy some of Weber's ideas about photography. I didn't enjoy many of the other conversations, by other photographers and/or critics and/or historians about photography in general; much of it just seemed to be old men blowing a lot of hot air; did they even listen to each other? The write-up also said Weber was a cab driver turned photographer. Weber was already taking photographs before he started driving a cab and he only drove for one year and hated the whole thing. So the focus on this as a catalyst for his work seemed off to me. As you can probably tell, I do not recommend this film.
