Take a journey deep inside the American style of debt, where things seem fine as long as the minimum monthly payment arrives on time. Shocking and incisive, it paints a picture of a national nightmare which is all too real for most.

Very out of date. Maybe would be good for middle school students.

Maybe the lady with the plate obsession wouldn't be on the verge of bankruptcy if she stopped buying plates!!!
In any case, a good wake up call.

Touches on one aspect of American society that always astounded me: The widespread use and abuse of credit cards. I recommend this to anyone who spends money. Interviews people from all over the country, both those in debt, and some seriously shady company representatives. Even features input from the owner of Yuppie Pawn in Totem Lake! (Near Seattle, Eastside)
