Beautiful. That’s the first word that comes to mind after watching this documentary. Filled with great cinematography and light-hearted stories, this documentary provides a fun-filled inside look at a 25-day hike on the Jon Muir Trail with a group of artists and close friends. Watching this is like taking a vacation in your living room, you can hike the JMT while sitting on your couch with a tasty bowl of popcorn (and you won't get sore!). Enjoy the journey, because this group of hikers certainly did.

I normally prefer landscape/wilderness documentaries to focus on topography and wild life, not people. So I was dubious as the doc. started with its heavy focus on the individuals in the group. However, after a while, it's almost as if you are there yourself and I grudgingly found myself caring about these folk,. Plus the landscape footage is stunning. Recommended.
