When Roman's girlfriend disappears, he expects to find her in the arms of another man. And find her he does, but there is no lover on the scene, only a pair of crazy old men keeping her locked away in the basement of their crumbling mansion. Armed with wild-eyed political ideals and case after case of decades-old and highly unstable dynamite, the villainous duo are conducting illicit experiments on a string of young women lured to their home via the internet. If Roman cannot free his young love, she is likely to end up in pieces, thanks in part to a generous slathering of nitro-glycerine. A delirious old school horror picture with the most memorable villains in years at its core, Adrian Garcia Bogliano's COLD SWEAT was a huge hit at SXSW thanks to its creator's wild imagination and sense of showmanship. Loaded with unforgettable characters and stylish action, COLD SWEAT is a shocker that never fails to entertain.

Not as good as the previews made it seem (naturally). Hetero male horror aficionados (such as myself) might appreciate the nubile Camila Velasco's (Jackie's) unfortunate dilemma; that being her need to disrobe due to an inconvenient (lol) slathering of nitroglycerin about her from head to toe. I *ahem* know I did.

Creepy old Spanish dude with an eye-patch, to Ali: "I've spent my entire life studying the Spanish language. I know the definition of 150,000 words. I estimate that there may be three times more to learn. Can you imagine how many words that is? Do you know how many words are commonly used by a girl your age? Two hundred. Two hundred words. There were hypocrites in my generation, all talking about freedom. You are their children and grandchildren, but you kids know nothing. Just another wave of idiots. Each successive generation takes one step further into ignorance. If you can't speak properly, if you can't express what you want, then you have no freedom at all."
