Starring Courtney B. Vance. Nine strangers survive the unthinkable when the basement of their high-rise apartment building protects them from a nuclear attack on New York City. With unspeakable horrors waiting on the outside and no hope for rescue, the group descends into madness as the days pass. As supplies dwindle and tensions flare, they grow increasingly unhinged by hopelessness and close quarters. They turn on one another, and each act of physical and psycho-sexual torment becomes more depraved than the last. Only one survivor holds on to a thin chance for escape, even with no hope of salvation on the other side of the bunker door.

Awful movie with no plausible realities after the charachters get low on food.
Totally dysfunctional movie, part post apocolyptic mixed with mentally unstable people who become even more unhinged leading to an 'every person for themselves' outcome & horrific scenes of brutal rape/torture . Although they arent long they are something I cannot unsee & really wish I'd been warned about.
I would not recommend this, especially for sensitive people. I watch many true crime shows & this was too over the top for me.

A dark, disturbing, post-apocalyptic drama. Graphic and R-rated. Like a "Lord of the Flies" with stranded adults. If you're looking for some fast-paced chaos, this isn't for you. If you're open to analyzing one end-of-the-world scenario, then it's worth the watch. Not for the squeamish.
Graphic, intense post apocalyptic survival tale. Borders on horror. Would have liked it more if people had been civil longer and not every single person went completely off the deep end. Pretty powerful little flick though.
