Meet the Anderson Family (the starry-eyed, 1950s, TV, Sit-Com clan in Father Knows Best).

And even though I thought that this show was erroneously titled "Father Knows Best" - 'Cause the truth of the matter was that "father" (at least a good part of the time) didn't know best - (Although on occasion he did come close) - I still did find that about 60% of this show's 36, half-hour episodes (from Season 2) were fairly entertaining in their own right and, often enough, they came quite close to hitting the mark.

And just like "Leave It To Beaver" this TV series (filmed in b&w) also featured an unrealistically ideal, All-American family who very rarely watched any television, at all, and never-ever listened to any music of any kind (especially not to rock-n-roll).

Oh, well - Nobody's perfect - Not even the seemingly faultless Andersons from Springfield, Ohio (1954-1960).
