I didn't like the book at all, it failed the 50 page test at page 52.

The idea that someone would write a book and claim that a religious holy book could be 'forcibly' re-written (as an aside) is too delusional.

A good old fashioned action filled SF story. I will definitely read the next one in the series!

This is a good alternative to the "Star Trek" series giving a basis for a realistic future of science and space wars. I appreciate that he takes in mind the physics of space travel and presents a very realistic picture of faster than light travel.
He keeps the action moving the first 100 pages of the book is a single battle, but build where it is easy for the reader to follow and keep up with change of location and characters.
For a book written to be a paperback novel, it shows the author has a good handle on his craft and able to move toward a definite point.
