A high school French teacher gets increasingly drawn into a precocious student's increasingly transgressive story about his relationship with a friend's family.

This is a film by French director Francois Ozon on the subject of voyeurism - a 16-yr old boy gaining access to his friend's home and writing about the family continually. Some people may have problem with the theme of the story, which involves a literature teacher and one of his bright students. The ending, a disaster for the teacher (and you'll think he deserves it). is predictable but appropriate. In French with subtitles.

Rather unpleasant film. Despite positive reviews, we found the story implausible and the characters increasingly disturbing, especially the young sociopath. Overall morally bankrupt.

"Into The House" is an incredibly good story written with intrigue and suspense, entertaining "till the end" or "to be continued...". (English subtitles)
