I really loved reading this book, I tought it was amazing, but I expected a little bit more of romance between Mikey and Ellie. I really liked this book and I recommend it to any teenager out there! :)

Overall it was a good story, and I liked the characters (Mikey and Ellie) and between them I think there was a good story. I really liked the british writing. However, I felt like the initial problem (between Karyn and Tom) was never resolved.

This is a very strong book (story and craft) with compelling characters. Deals with very difficult issues in very personal ways. Honest and real. I don't often read books again but I would read this one again.

I was really disappointed with this book. From the summary and reviews, I was expecting a riveting, forbidden romance, but this was far from it. I didn't realize it was a british book until I started reading it, and that was the first thing that I disliked about it. It was also very slow and took forever for anything good to happen. I found Mikey and Ellie's relationship to be weird and completely unrealistic, but maybe that was just me. The only good thing about this book was the twist that came about half-way through the book - you think you know who is lying about the night of the party, but then new facts and memories slowly start to trickle in. The main issue was still mostly there by the end of the book, so it wasn't a very satisfying end to me. I should have stopped reading about 50 pages in, when I already didn't like it very much, but I kept reading because I was hoping it would get better, and because I don't like not finishing books (what if I finish it and end up loving it?). Ellie was probably the only character I actually liked for most of the book. Overall, I would definitely not recommend this. There are so many better books out there. This book is 413 pages, so don't waste your time.
