Was boring in the beginning, but it picked up later...The plot is full of holes....the scene in the parking lot with the detective arriving ?...ridiculous.
bad acting...

This movie started rather slowly. My husband & I stopped watching it but before I returned it, I said let me have another go at it. I was pleasantly surprised how it picked up the pace & got my adrenalin rushing. The plot thickened & it has even earned 4 out 5 stars from me.

Effective enough thriller. In addition to falling for its plot twists, I also found its subject-matter interesting.

Skip it - the acting is horrible and the story is boring.

Fair – Beyond a Reasonable Doubt (2009) 106 min. The film plays out like an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents except that Alfred managed to tell the stories in less than 30 min. This film is long; especially in the first half as it sets up the plot of Jesse Metcalfe planting enough evidence to bring down the D.A. played by Michael Douglas. The film does redeem itself marginally as Metcalfe’s girlfriend and assistant D.A. tries to prove his innocence. This is remake of the 1956 film noir of the same name starring Dana Andrews.
