Catherine Ling was abandoned on the streets of Hong Kong at age four. Schooled in the art of survival, she traded in the only commodity she had: information. As a teenager she trained with Hu Chang, a skilled assassin and master poisoner. Now employed by the CIA, she is one of their most effective operatives. When Hu Chang developes a formula that is not only deadly but untraceable, the race is on to be the first to get it.

I usually love Johansen's work but this book died at about page thirty.

I was disappointed in this book. The better the book the faster I read it. Let's just say it is taking me far too long to read it.

I love the whole Eve. Quinn. Bonnie trilogy and was glad to see the ending for Catherine and Gallo. I hope there is a solo story for Veneble also.

This was good, not the edge of my seat, nail biting suspense of her others though

It is a shame that trees were sacrificed to print this book. The dialog is juvenile; the plot contrived; the characters shallow and unbelievable. It is certainly not up to the quality of the author's earlier work.

I didn't care much for this one. Too complicated and dry. 4 of 10 for me.
