Couldn't get through the first hour of the first disc. But Im in the minority according to the other comments. So, if you enjoy this genre, go for it! Otherwise, avoid it.

Sweet surprise to see Dr. Owen Hunt from Grey's Anatomy in this Tolstoy movie. Excellently done! The time period felt very real.

Helen McCrory gives a virtuoso performance as a woman being driven mad by her husband's cruel refusal to grant her a divorce and marry her new lover. Beautifully shot, costumed, and played throughout.
