a decent mystery set in england. the reason for the innkeeper's attitude was never very clear and the women decided there was foul business going on before anything much happened but if you ignore those it was a nice little quick read

Very disappointing. The first book in this series that I couldn't stomach. I learned decades ago that anyone who has to swear to get a point across does not have a point, but is trying to distract you into thinking there actually is one.
