Legend says that in every generation there are 36 Righteous Men on whom the fate of humanity depends. Will Monroe, a young New York journalist, smells a big story when his investigation of a series of seemingly connected deaths becomes even more urgent when his wife is kidnapped. A desperate Will finds himself in the heart of an ultra orthodox Jewish community, where he realizes that if he cannot stop the killings, then the future of the world may be at stake.

Very slow start, it picked up in the middle, and it telegraphed the ending. Not a very good book

Keeps you in suspense. The ending was a bit hockey and predictable.
