The Sisterhood of the Traveling PantsBook - 2001
Some friends just fit together.
Once there was a pair of pants. Just an ordinary pair of jeans. But these pants, the Traveling Pants, went on to do great things. This is the story of the four friends--Lena, Tibby, Bridget, and Carmen--who made it possible.
Pants = love. Love your pals. Love yourself.

Violence: Two old Greek grandfathers get into a fist-fight in one part of the book. Some blood is shed but only a little.
Coarse Language: Some words that carry a heafty meaning. Funny situations and totally appropriate for the problems facing the girls, but there are a few choice words.
Sexual Content: The book never goes into detail - but does give the implication of sex. And then they talk about how certain boys make out better than others. Not throughout the whole book just maybe one page in the middle.
Sexual Content: In the whole book series, there are parts when they.. you know... touch and do it...
