An exquisite walk with Pa through the quiet winter woods looking for an owl is a memorable experience, especially since they are lucky enough to stare into the eyes of an owl. Owl moon is a wonderful winter story especially if going on an owl hike or learning about owls.

A perfect pairing of poetic writing and illustrations with hidden details that invite the reader to step into the story and be filled with awe and wonder.
