For those who like John Candys' work this book offers some insight into his life and what sort of person he was. He sounds like the type of man that we all want as a friend. The downside to this book is the author Martin Knelman. As a film critic Knelman spends too much time analyzing the TV and films Candy was part of. Every time he talks about the quality of the films or shows I found my eyes glazing over. He uses the word 'delicious' on several occasions to descibe good writing or acting. Find some other word.
