It hard to write review for such movie. Many did not made into today, but this one did. If you look past jokes and gags, there is clear message there. What you do with your life? What is important and what you do need to do and many other…

I agree with the lower ratings. This is unnecessary in life, stupid and boring. I said that about other dumb movies in the past and I'll say this again: the producer of this movie could have send the money invested in it to starving kids…

VERY GOOD 1986 film written, co-produced and directed by John Hughes. Fine cast all around. I particularly enjoyed Jeffrey Jones as Edward R. Rooney, the school principal who is whackilly compelled to confront Ferris.

1995 TOP NOTCH teen- adult comedy. Poor Mr. Rooney, the principal. He keeps trying to outsmart Ferris but he can't. Great scene with Charlie Sheehan. DRUGS?

It is with some sadness that I am lowering my rating to 2 stars. I first saw this movie in 1986, my first year out of high school and I laughed so hard that I cried and literally could not get enough of it. I lost count of how many times I…

Hilarious, Matthew Broderick's best movie next to War Games!

A really good, really funny movie about a high-schooler who fakes illness in order to skip school. The best part is anything with the principal. Not for kids but very worth a watch.

Horrible! This movie is over-rated. The whole movie is nothing more than a self-centered teenager manipulating his friends to go along with his every whim, all the while using as much foul language per minute as possible as if it’s…

This eighties gem still shines from beginning to end.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off has that 80’s movie vibe and is definitely one of Hughes’ funniest films. This film is aimed towards the team to an adult audience. Those watching can relate to Ferris if they love skipping school, Cameron if they…

I watched it as a trip down memory lane and was satisfied. Speaks differently to a teenager and now a grown-up, does it relate to the current generation?

Such a fun and classic John Hughes film about a high school senior ditching school to enjoy life and not let it pass him by. It has a good moral of the story basis, maybe not ditching school but taking time to enjoy life before it is too…

When writers try to sound like teenagers, they can sometimes sound out of the loop, but one of the strengths that fans of writer/director John Hughes still mention is how in tune he was with youth. He valued teenagers and saw their worth.…

Matthew Broderick's funniest movie, bar none!! Thanks to director John Hughes for taking a cast of unknowns and making a classic comedy!

What a treat! This is a popcorn classic and gets a bizzaro rating of 3.5 stars. Here a young man totals a nice car and speaks directly into the camera whenever he feels like it. Try this film with a chicago polish sausage and a draft…

There's nothing I can say about Ferris Bueller that hasn't been said before. It is a precious comedy classic that I hold near and dear to my heart. I highly recommend this one. Save Ferris.

My overall opinion of this movie is that it is a highly entertaining film and definitely one of the greatest teen films ever made. All of the scenes are well put together showing us what one can accomplish in one day with the right mind.…

Must See - Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) 102 min. One of my favorite comedies of all time. Matthew Broderick defined the high school student of the 80s with his manipulative powers of parents, friends and teachers alike. Many memorable…

It's always difficult to judge a movie fairly when you hear/read so many good things about it before you watch it. This was the case for me and this movie, which I thought was really funny albeit predictable. Man that Ferris can pull of…
