Part of the Adult Literacy Program
This 8-session course has been designed to extend your Word Processing and Spreadsheet skills so that you are better able to support business with their formal documents/reports and data analysis/presentation.
Word Processing: Use text styles and outline numbering to create automated Table of Contents. Customize headers and footers to reflect document sections, similar to chapters in books. Embed dynamic graphs, charts and statistical data from spreadsheets into documents (if the underlying data changes, this is reflected in the document).
Spreadsheets: Use statistical IF, AND, OR, COUNTIF, SUMIF to evaluate if data meets given conditions. Use SUBTOTAL to perform calculations on filtered sets of data. Use LOOKUP functions to return data that meet given criteria. Use PIVOT TABLES and GRAPHS to instantly summarize, analyze, explore, and present large datasets without complex formulas.
Cost is $30 per person. The class is limited to 8 participants.
