Current exhibit (June 24 - August 17, 2025):
gathering evocations by Karla Mather-Cocks Woven hangings – Stirling, AB
gathering evocations is a multidimensional and multifunctional exhibit featuring woven hangings,
textiles and hand-manipulated photos. This exhibition centers on the examination of Karla’s memories
of the first eighteen years of her life in Central Alberta. While reflecting on her memories through
exploring old notebooks and pictures, this allowed for a visual path to be represented in textiles and
photographs. This exploration documents how memories change or are distorted over time.
