We are excited to be a part of the official celebration event for the newly expanded G.H. Dawe Community Centre! During the City of Red Deer's event, come to the Dawe Branch of RDPL to learn what a free library card can get you at Red Deer Public Library! Meet our mascot, Booker the dog, and sign up for a library card to be entered to win a surprise prize! Then go on a scavenger hunt, make a library card holder for your new library card, and spend quality family time at the Minute to Win it Family Literacy stations.

Swim, skate and play for FREE at the newly expanded G.H. Dawe Community Centre from 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 19! The jointly funded project between The City of Red Deer, Province of Alberta and Government of Canada focuses on the modernization and replacement of existing spaces, as well as the addition of new amenities including two NHL sized arenas, public art, state-of-the-art fitness facilities and so much more! Join us throughout the day for facility tours, activities and a FREE gift for the first 500 people to arrive!
